So I have no idea how any of this works or gow public this post will be, but I have a super important question… I miss my castle and really wanted to finish it. I cant really describe how shocked I was to find it all gone, but i totally understand that you guys didnt want to waste the money anymore. :) I’m not mad at you guys, I’m just wondering if theres any way i can gain my castle back, or if you guys are thinking about bringing it back.

Thank you for understanding. It sucks, but seemed the most sensible thing to do (screw you, adult responsibilities!).
We saved all the region files, so your castle is safely on my laptop. I can sus out where your castle was if you like, then pass on the relevant region files. That way you can load it in a singleplayer world and continue it. (And I’d love to see how it ends up!)
Do you have me on skype? I feel like you do, but that’s possibly on my old skype. If you want me to send you your castle, send me another message with your skype name (I won’t post that though, of course).
“Send you your castle”, makes it sound like I’m going to whack a stamp on it and shove it in a mail box.

You actually sent us this just a day or two after we took the server down.. No one was coming on anymore, like at all. It costs money to keep up and running, and if there’s no one coming on and playing, I mean, what’s the point? We backed everything up, so if/when we put nightvalecraft back up we’ll still have everything.
But uh, Cecil and I have actually turned it into our own private modded server now (we already had everything for it, since we’ve run modded servers before, and it works better than hosting it off one of our laptops!)
Really sorry you found NVC at like, the worst time. But hopefully we’ll bring it back one day!

Sorry we’ve been..pretty much non-existent lately. We both started work recently (getting up at 5am sucks), plus uni, and life in general..well, I’m sure you all know how it can get sometimes.
So we’re still here, I still always have the Night Vale Craft chat open on my laptop, and am always on the Night Vale irc, so on the rare occasions that someone comes onto the server, I do notice! (Though sometimes I only notice a few hours later, so please don’t be sad if I don’t say hi - I was probably just asleep/at work/at uni!)
Uni finishes in a few weeks (5? 6? I should probably know these things..), so I’ll more spare time, and will try to be more active on the server.
We miss seeing people on the server! And we miss being on the server!
So, just wanted to let you all know that we’re still here, we still care, life just decided to overwhelm us.

Hey it's Blake, I haven't been able to contact you otherwise but I got a new minecraft account, is there any easy way to open up all my stuff to this one and can my donor rank be moved over at all?
There’s no easy way. Since you’ve got a new account, you could just log into your old one, and allow your new one access to all your stuff. (If you’d changed your name, as opposed to getting a new account, a lot of things would have changed automatically for you..)
And sure, your rank can be moved. But it’d have helped if you’d told us what account we were moving it to..

Hi! I'm a server veteran (maybe. I was around for a while in 13-15 and then stopped and rudely left a major project unfinished so I'd like to apologize for ruining /warp time) and I may be coming back soon. Anything done recently either by players or admins that I should know about?

Do redstone repeaters not work in Creative? Or am I just having a dunce moment because I swear this thing I've got is built right...
Mn, they should work. I remember when we were moving to 1.8 we didn’t want anyone making those slime block robots, so we either had to blacklist pistons or slimeblocks (and we chose slimeblocks). So repeaters should definitely work. In what way aren’t they working? Do they not transmit the signal, or can you not place them?

I am really sorry it took so bloody long. We’re forgetful, and then exams happened.
You can now lock the new door types, and the new fence gates. Not banners or iron trapdoors yet, because that requires a newer version of LWC, and while I don’t think updating the plugin will wipe all the current protections, these things are weird sometimes, so I’ll do it soon.
Really sorry we’ve been quiet. But. Exams are over, and I have a new laptop (that works!), so we’ll try to be more active.

Of course! You hardly need our permission for this, your skin is yours to decorate as you please. Short of any of the ‘-ism’s, you can do whatever you want. Even have a nude skin if that’s what you want. We are a mature server after all, just don’t go harassing (or making anyone uncomfortable) anyone with it and wear some clothes for demon’s sake!

Okay so 2 quick questions 1. I want to co-own a house with my friend Noblehazard. Can we do that and split the cost of the buying price for land? 2. I am working on this village in the farm word and a sneaky zombie snuck in and killed two of my villagers leaving me with one, for creating more I need one more and I wanted to know if it was a possibility for someone to spawn one more in?
Of course you can co-own property and split the cost, it’s been done before and we’d be happy to do it agian.
As for the villagers, no, sorry. I guess you should trap one of those sneaky zombies and cure them!

If you frequent Reddit/Imgur you may have heard of Project Patch, otherwise, now you have.
Project Patch is a small Reddit community dedicated to those who like games, and who have to deal with mental illness. It’s designed to be a safe place where people can interact with those in similar situations. We know that there is at least a few Night Vale Craft players who suffer various mental illnesses, and there’s probably many others we aren’t aware of, so we thought we’d spread the word here, in the hope that some of you may benefit.

Just put up a sign beneath Intern Dana at /warp tumblr and use /nick Intern_Dana. If you want us to remove the underscore from your nickname, just message us again with your IGN and we’ll fix that right up for you.
We periodically check the ages of the signs in the Tower of Tumblr, and then manually go through the files to remove expired nicknames. Automation of it would actually be really hard. But it’s on our to-do list! (It’s right up the top as well, but it may not end up being possible for us, so no promises)

Hey i spawned an Ocelot i got in the old mining and named her Lucy. I spawned her and put her in my house with the doors closed and i went to Ralph's to get fish to tame her. I came back and Lucy was gone. WHERE IS LUCY? -Ellie
Lucy despawned. When there is no player within 32 blocks of an ocelot for at least 30 seconds, there is a small chance of it despawning - you happened to get unlucky.
